Station 21- Gales Addition

The image shows a single-story building with red garage doors, surrounded by trees and a gray sky, possibly a fire station.

508 North Baker St.
Port Angeles, WA 98362

Fire Station 21 was first constructed as a 2-bay fire station in the 1960s.  In the late 1970s, an additional 2 bays were added to house more apparatus.  As the Fire District expanded to having full-time career firefighters, a modular home was placed in 2016 next to the fire station to house the on-duty crew.

Daily minimum staffing at this station is 2 personnel which includes at least one paramedic and the on-duty officer.

There are currently about 15-18 volunteer firefighters who respond out of this station when needed.
