Burn Restrictions

Clallam County has a standard burn ban for residential and commercial burning between July1- October 1 each year.  This may be extended or started early depending on weather condition and fire danger.  Please check back regularly for current information.  

  • No outdoor burning is allowed.
  • This includes campfires.
  • No charcoal grills are allowed at this time.
  • Propane and pellet stove are allowed provided they are over non-flammable surface and at least 5 feet away from flammable vegetation.
  • No weed abatement or agricultural burning  is allowed.
